The Youth & Family Ministry Team encourages active participation within and outside the congregation for members of all ages and oversees the Youth & Family Coordinator position.
Manic Monday Lunches
The Youth & Family Ministry Team is providing lunch for all Senior High School students during their lunch hour every Monday that school is in session. This is an opportunity for the youth to gather in a safe place with their friends and have a delicious free meal!!! Bring a Friend..or two…or three!!! Adults are needed to help provide food and for serving. Please check the sign-up sheets by Youth Coordinator's door if you can help.
Youth Mission Focus Time
7th through 12th Graders
Let’s gather as a group and learn about what it means to do mission in God's world! We'll meet at 6:00 pm Sundays here at the church (be sure to check the calendar for the updated schedule).This is an ongoing process to incorporate our Sunday experience into our everyday lives.I will be growing along with you as we learn ways to minister to our peers, develop skills to empower us as Christians in today's world, and grow in our faith as we get involved in helping others through service.
ALL 7th through 12th Grade Youth are encouraged to attend. Your friends are welcome also.

Peer Ministry
Beginning January 30th, 2008, Sophomore Confirmation will be with Tara Fisher working through the Peer Ministry training. There will be 16 sessions to fulfill the requirements of the training. THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR CONFIRMATION. Those who complete all of the sessions will have the option of becoming Certified Peer Ministers. These sessions will occur during normal confirmation time on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Most sessions will be one to one and a half hours long. Confirmation
Confirmation begins in the 8th grade and continues through Reformation Sunday (end of October time frame) in the 11th grade.
8th grade confirmation meets at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays with Pastor Duffey in the 7th/8th grade Sunday School room.
9th grade confirmation meets at 8:00 pm on Wednesdays with Pastor Duffey.
10th grade confirmation meets at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays with Natasha Harber in the youth room (large room in south basement).
