Congregational Life

The Congregational Life Team assists all small group ministries within the congregation to be successful in their ministry pursuits. One part of this ministry is providing FaithChests to each child baptized in Peace Lutheran Church to collect symbols, books, memories, gifts, stories, photos relating to faith life of the child.

PLC Prays

Members of Peace interested in joining a prayer group are invited to come to Peace on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7 p.m. for focused, communal prayer. We are still working out the details, but hope you will join us. We will focus prayer on praising and thanking God for his mercy and grace and the needs of Peace Lutheran Church and its members, LCMC, our community and other needs brought to our attention.

Women's Book Study

The Women's Book Club is meeting on Saturdays at the church at 10:30 a.m. We have just started reading Charles Swindoll's Church Awakening.  We want to invite YOU to join us! Our meetings start with a sharing and caring time then we delve into the book. Please contact the church office (388-1358) if you have any questions. 

Peace Re-piecers

The Peace Re-piecers meet on Wednesday afternoons at 12:30 p.m. Quilts are made for baptisms, seniors leaving for college, Lutheran World Relief and many other mission needs. All are welcome to come. For more information call Diane Oddy.

Shawl Ministry

The Shawl Ministry meets during the school year on Thursday's at 7 p.m. Anyone that knits, crochets or would like to learn are welcome to join us. We meet in our homes for a comfortable relaxing evening. We share laughs, caring & sharing our past week and tips on crocheting & knitting.

The Shawl Ministry and the Peace Re-piecers of Peace Lutheran make Prayer Shawls, quilts and baby blankets. Babies baptized at Peace and our seniors going away to college are given a knitted blanket or quilt. Shawls are given to the families that are that enter the Family Promise Program as a gift from Peace Lutheran. Shawls are available in the Church Office for anyone that knows of someone in need of being 'wrapped in God's love' becasue of a crisis, transition, move or many other needs. Prayer Chain

An electronic mail prayer chain is offered to pass on prayer requests to other members of the church. To be put on one of the lists, contact the church at (406) 388-1358. To put a request on the prayer chain, please call the church at (406) 388-1358.

Wednesdays at Peace

During the Lent and Advent Seasons - Wednesday evenings we have Soup & Bread Suppers and a short Worship Service following the meal.

Family Ministry Teams

Family ministry teams contribute to the life of the congregation by serving the church in a variety of ways, mainly for Sunday worship. The congregation is divided into 4 teams that serve three times a year. The ministry teams will greet, usher, and lector for the Sunday church services and provide refreshments during Fellowship. If you would like to be added to a ministry team, please contact the church office at (406) 388-1358.

Servants of Peace

The Servants of Peace are a group of individuals who organize and provide resources for events in the church, such as funerals, Wednesdays at Peace, ant other events. If you wish to be involved as an organizer/caller or as a provider, please contact Karlene Swenson.

Casserole Care

Casserole Care provides meals to church family members who are enduring changes or difficulties in their lives, such as a birth of a child, an illness or loss of a loved one, and could use support and care from other church members. If you are interested in being listed on the call sheet for Casserole Care, please contact Karlene Swenson.

Salt and Pepper Dinners

Salt and Pepper Dinners provide an opportunity for church members to fellowship together outside the church walls. Every year, interested individuals, couples, and families are assigned to a Salt and Pepper group. The group makes its own arrangements for gatherings throughout the year. New Members

New members and transfer members are welcomed into the church throughout the year. A new member class is offered periodically, ususally when needed. A special church service is designated when new and transfer members are welcomed into the church.
